Our Story
After unsuccessfully searching for a way to both, keep track of their golf playing history and also creating competitions with their golfing buddies and community, ‘Your Local Golf’ was created by Logan and Callum, two golfing mates.
Without similar apps in the market, they wanted a transparent and accurate way forward where people can play either alongside or outside of club competitions. A simple way to record scores on your phone, which then populate various group competitions.
They started the journey in 2020 and were able to collect accurate course data from more than 1000 golf courses in Australia and more than 300 in New Zealand.
Your Local Golf allows brands and businesses to reach a local, engaged audience through targeted adverts, which allows us to keep the app free to users across the globe.
Future expansion to additional competitions is currently under development and will be launched in the near future.
